Bio
Evan had been on his high school's rowing team since his freshman year. Prior to his senior year, as part of his training for rowing nationals, he did a 5 mile run in 30 minutes which prompted him to try cross country. He achieved several large personal records during senior year and made the decision to continue his running career with Daytona State near the end of track season.

Coach's Comments: Casterline is a relative newcomer to running, having only participated in track and cross country his senior year of high school. But as an avid rower, he displays exceptional work ethic and aerobic capacity. This fall allows him to focus mainly on running, the sky is the limit for Evan.
