The no. 13 ranked Daytona State Falcons Men's Soccer Team hit the road for their season opener, meeting up with Harford Community College in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Sophomore forward, Didier Jean Baptiste, opened the scoring during the 30th minute of the contest with a pass by Alejandro Zuniga leaving Baptiste 1v1 with the Fighting Owls keeper. Just moments later, Bismark Ayamba would fire a shot from distance sending the Falcons into halftime with a 2-0 lead.
Hector Moreno would score the last goal of the game in the 76th to give the Falcons their first win of the 2024 season, 3-0.
Daytona State College will play USC-Lancaster at 1pm in Lancaster, SC on Sunday, September 1st.
