Daytona State College men's soccer team improves to 4-0-2 on the season after a 4-0 win on the road versus Thomas University.
Sophomore forward, Norman Alvarez scored his first goal as a Falcon in the 13th minute of the game. Set up by Kayoum M'bamba, Alvarez would be 1v1 before taking a left footed shot to beat the Nighthawks goalkeeper. Alejandro Zuniga would create his own luck after picking the ball off the Nighthawks keeper to find himself with an open goal to double the Falcons lead going into half time.
In the second half, Freshmen midfielder, Tommaso Casadei, would help lead the Falcons to victory after setting up both Josue Youta and Kayoum M'bamba for the 3rd and 4th goal of the game. With today's assists, Casadei brings his total to 4 on the season, so far leading the Falcons in assists.
Next up for the Falcons are the No. 20 ranked Montgomery College Raptors, kicking off at home on Saturday, September 21st at 7pm.
