The Daytona State College men's soccer team played their second home game this weekend versus the USC-Lancaster Lancers.
Having a day to recover from their first loss of the seasons, the Falcons would face the Lancers for the second time this season. The Lancers struck first after a corner kick in the 20th minute of the contest. The response from the Falcons came just 1 minute later after Josue Youta's left footed strike set up by sophomore midfielder, Celvin Atubra for his second assist on the weekend.
Holding the Lancers off to just 1 shot in the second half to the Falcons 11, Abdoulie Jallow scored what would be the decider with an acrobatic finish from a cross provided by Giovanni Donzetti.
The Falcons record improves to 5-1-3 on the season with this win. Next for the Falcons is a home match versus Region 10 rivals, Eastern Florida State College on Wednesday, October 12th at home.
