Daytona Beach, FL — The Daytona State College Men's Soccer team delivered a commanding performance on their home turf, cruising to an 8-0 victory over Northeast Alabama in a match that showcased their offensive firepower.
The scoring opened early in the 9th minute when Kayoum M'Bamba found the back of the net off a well-placed assist from Abdoulie Jallow, setting the tone for what would be a relentless attack. The Falcons doubled their lead in the 28th minute as Carlos Rojas capitalized on a corner kick from Santiago Apollaro.
Rojas struck again in the 37th minute with a spectacular diving header, assisted by Filippo Amaral, before turning provider just two minutes later, setting up Baye N'Diaye for the fourth goal.
The second half saw no let-up in intensity. In the 50th minute, Joachim Kyei calmly converted a penalty kick to make it 5-0. Just two minutes later, M'Bamba netted his second of the match, this time assisted by Kyei.
Ashenafi Jarre added a brace of his own, scoring in the 64th and 74th minutes, both times assisted by Mikkel Jensen, sealing the Falcons' emphatic win.
With this victory, Daytona State improves their record to 3-0-1 and builds momentum heading into their next challenge — a high-stakes home matchup against #8 ranked Illinois Central.
