Zeniel began his running career his freshman year of high school by trying out for the track team, initially wanting to be a sprinter. Tohopekaliga High School has a history of sending cross country athletes to Daytona State, and Zeniel is no exception. After putting in the work, and achieving several personal records, he was contacted by Coach Wilson and committed to DSC.
