Bio

Oliver comes to Daytona State after spending the last two years as an assistant coach for Santa Fe College Women's Basketball. Before this, she served as the lead assistant coach at DII Auburn University at Montgomery, where she was responsible for recruiting, defense, scouting, game preparation, the development of players, and academic support. Under her guidance, the Warhawks celebrated the most conference wins in the program's history and the first-ever three-game winning streak in the Gulf South Conference, setting new benchmarks for the team's performance.

Her coaching accolades include being honored as the 2019-2020 SIAA Coach of the Year in her inaugural year as Head Coach at DME Sports Academy, a testament to her exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. Her experience as a Division 1 student-athlete in the Big South Conference has profoundly influenced her coaching approach, allowing her to connect with and inspire her athletes deeply.

Oliver is also a proud veteran; she served as an information systems technician for the U.S. Navy and later became a cybersecurity and defense analyst for the United States Air Force. She served with distinction during Operation Enduring Freedom, earning a National Defense Medal and a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. 

Oliver holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.Ed. in Education with a specialization in Athletic Coaching. A native of Tampa, Florida, Oliver and her partner currently reside in Daytona Beach, Florida.
