Daytona State Women’s Golf Team Earns WGCA Academic Honor
Daytona Beach, FL – The Daytona State College Women’s Golf Team has been named the recipient of the 2024-2025 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award for the NJCAA Division, boasting the highest team GPA in the nation with an impressive 3.86 GPA.
Presented annually by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), the All-Scholar Team GPA Award recognizes the women’s collegiate golf programs with the highest collective grade point averages across all divisions. The WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award is one of the most prestigious academic honors in collegiate golf, and Daytona State’s top ranking among NJCAA programs continues to prove how dedicated these student-athletes are not only to their sport, but to their academic success.
“This is an incredible honor for our program,” said Head Coach Laura Brown. “Our student-athletes have shown that championship-level performance extends beyond the course. Their dedication to academics is just as strong as their drive to compete, and I couldn’t be prouder of their efforts.”
