Daytona State Women’s Soccer Announces 2024 Fall Schedule
Daytona Beach, FL- Head Coach Hope Clark and the Daytona State soccer program announce the 2024 fall season schedule, which kicks off on Friday, August 9th and features five matches inside the Daytona State Stadium in addition to the NJCAA Region 8 Tournament.
Clark and her staff are dedicated to fostering the development and culture of the program and striving to elevate the DSC women’s soccer program to the highest level. Since beginning in 2021 at Daytona State, Clark has propelled the program to unprecedented success alongside Assistant Coach Elizabeth Manner, who joined the staff in the spring of 2022.
Under Clark’s leadership, the DSC Falcons achieved significant milestones during the 2023 season, marking their most successful season to date. The Falcons closed their season in the Region 8 Finals. The Falcons finished 14-2, recorded a record eleven shutouts and had a 12-0 winning streak. Daytona State was ranked in the NJCAA Top 10 all season and spent four straight weeks at #4. The Falcons finished the season with a final NJCAA National Ranking of #7
DSC will play five exhibitions against Jacksonville University, Florida Southern, Rollins College, Embry-Riddle and Flagler College before officially kicking off the 2024 season against USC Lancaster on Monday, September 2nd in Lancaster, SC.
The Falcons home opener is set for September 17th against Miami Dade, the newest program addition to Region 8. The squad will welcome Eastern Florida, Pasco-Hernando State College, and USC Lancaster to Daytona Beach before concluding home play against Polk State on Wednesday, October 16th.
Daytona State will travel to face Georgia Military College, South Georgia State, LSU Eunice, Tyler, Pasco-Hernando State College, USC Lancaster, Miami Dade, Eastern Florida, and Polk State.
The Falcons will host the NJCAA Region 8 Tournament October 24 and 26 at Falcon Stadium.
