Falcons Announce 2024 Season Schedule

The Daytona State Women's cross country schedule for the 2024 season is set and the Falcons are ready to race!  2024 marks the program's seventh season and they are coming off a strong 2023 campaign with a Region 8 title and a sixth place finish (out of 38 teams) at the NJCAA Division II National Championships.  The Falcons will take to the beach on August 23rd to participate in an exhibition against other state junior colleges from the state of Florida.  The Falcons will make stops at University of Central Florida, Lakeland, Huntsville AL, and Tallahassee before setting their sights on a repeat Region 8 championship.  The 2024 NJCAA National Championship takes place in Richmond, VA on November 9th at Pole Green Park.  The Falcons made the trip to Richmond in 2021 and finished in the top ten at the national meet.  "Our goal each year is to find races where we can learn and develop throughout the season, so that by end of October, we are ready to perform at our highest level." commented Coach Judy Wilson, now in her seventh year at Daytona State.
